| USES: Manganese Dioxide is used as a depolarizing agent in dry cell batteries, in pyrotechnic
formulations, in match manufacturing, as a scavenger and decolorizing agent, in textile dyeing
and as an oxidizing agent in the synthesis of organic compounds. |

| HANDLING: Avoid breathing dust. Avoid getting in eyes or on skin.
Wash thoroughly after handling. Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight, heat
and incompatible materials. Reseal containers immediately after use. Store away from
food and beverages. OSHA PEL and ACGIH TLV-TWA have been established for this chemical
at 2mg/m3 as Mn. This product may be subject to SARA section 313 reporting
requirements (Mn 63.19%). See MSDS for additional information. |
