USES:Ammonium Dichromate is use in engraving, lithography, mordant for dyeing, oil purification and picking. It can also be used as a catalyst in chemical reations, as ingredient in pyrotechnic formulations and in oil purification.
HANDLING: Do not store near acids, organics and other oxidizable materials or where flammable or combustible materials are stored. Reseal containers immediately after use. Store away from food and beverages. Use dust respirator when handling. OSHA PEL & ACGIH TLV-TWA have been established for this compound 0.1mg/m3 as CrO3(ceiling) & 0.05 mg/m3 as Cr(ceiling) respectively. Material is an oxidizer. This product may be subject to SARA Section 313 reporting requirements (Cr 41.24%). See SDS for more information.
